Birthday weekend

Yesterday was my birthday! 45!!!

 It was a cold sunny day, we enjoyed our lunch at a nice restaurant and in the afternoon I prepared my stuff for this flea market. With a friend we have shared the market stall.

Hoy hemos estado en este mercadillo, he compartido puesto con una amiga y las ventas han ido muy bien. En resumen, un cumpleaños redondo.

Cinema, moonlight picnic and friends

Yesterday we went to the Sala Montjuïc to see Melancholia (again) by Lars Von Trier. I am the one, at left, with the strange smile (actually I am waiting for a dental implant).

Hace un par de noches subimos a la Sala Montjuïc para ver Melancholia, la película de Lars Von Trier. Fue una agradable noche de picnic y cine con los amigos. Yo soy la de la izquierda, la de la sonrisa extraña (llevo unos meses esperando un implante dental ).

El Tilo

If you are in Bilbao (Basque Country) and you want a cafe you can go to my favourite one. "El Tilo" in front of the  Arriaga theater is an amazing place. Clasical music and simple forniture for rainy days like today.

jaime´s book and other happy things

jaime´s  inspiring book has arrived today. Finally I have ciclamen at my window again and I have sent some lavender sachets to a friend who has opened a gift shop near Barcelona.

I asked my friend Unai for some natural wax, he uses to take care of the bees that her auntie has at this magic place Erletxe (house of the bees in basque language).

my friend finished  this star against the clock before taking the plane. It will be a nice Christmas decoration.

this is a strange basque custom, only the man cook, and the women are not allowed to enter in the kitchen...

I think that this is a sexist costum. At the menu alubias con sacramentos (beans). The kids enjoyed the creme caramel.This is me at the last photo.
