seeds





more holiday photos... I love our old mosaic table. I have some seeds of mirabillis jalapa (the pink plant at this last photo). Some of them are for coco, but I have more just in case that anyone asks for.

  3. Oh, I would love to try out some seeds from it :) Do you think it would work inside the flat?
    The mosaik floor is wonderful! I always wanted to try out mosaik myself and I am sure if I ever have a house where I can do what I want I will make a mosaik maybe in the bathroom.

  6. Me gusta mucho tu mesa :). En nuestra casa del pueblo hay unos bancos de obra en la puerta con mosaicos azules, iguales a los de la casa de mi abuelo, siempre me recuerdan a las vacaciones.

Siento gran admiración por las gentes que saben los nombres científicos de las plantas, tan bellos además! yo, si logro recordar el nombre común ya me doy por satisfecha... a la mirabillis jalapa, yo la conozco como Diego de la noche.... me encanta y siempre es una sorpresa verlas, no se cuando se siembran por lo que mis recolecciones de sus semillas quedan sin dar frutos!

  8. Alice, aquí en el hemisferio Norte se pueden plantar a finales de invierno o principio de primavera. Aunque yo a veces las he puesto al final del verano y han salido (el año siguiente, claro).
    Aquí también la llamamos Don Diego de noche o Don Pedros :)
