Having Salvia flowers for breakfast

Last week at the Bizilore plot I tasted these little Salvia flowers. The women of this association have an enormous knoweledge of wild flowers!

I am trying to get Haizea involved in the Secret Garden project so I asked her to made a drawing of the garden.

El otro día en el terreno de Bizilore probé estas flores de Salvia. Las mujeres de esta asociación saben tienen muchos conocimientos de etnobotánica, por eso y porque son muy majas me encanta ir a Bakio. 

Estoy intentando que Haizea se implique y participe en el proyecto del jardín secreto de Mujeres del Mundo. Por eso le sugerí que hiciese el plano del jardín.

¡Por fin esta mañana ha cuajado! La semana pasada me autorregalé este fantástico cubretazas, y hoy me ha llegado junto con este jaboncito.

la semana pasada me compré esta preciosa telita vichy en la tiendita de Samantha. No me esperaba para nada este precioso paquete!

Esta foto me tiene robado el corazón. Y también el título que la acompaña "Retratos informales". Es de un manual de fotografía que saqué de la biblioteca.

I was impressed when some months ago I discovered this ficus benjamina variegata in a windowshop near my work. Yesterday I came into the shop and asked a few questions to his owner:

-How old is she? She is seventeen years old.

-How many times have you transplanted her? Only once, eight years ago.

-How often do you water her? Once a week, with a 1,5l bottle.

The girl was so nice, she is in the photo (I asked her to pose, for the scale!). She insisted in the importance of the place, this one is in a corner with a lot of light. Thank you!

demasiado cansada para traducir...

some months ago a nice customer asks me for an aporocactus. Her grandmother had a big one, and my nostalgic customer was triying to find the same plant. Nobody (nurseries) around Bilbao had the plant but... this weekend I was in Barcelona at a flower fair and I found the plant! I bought the plant for her and she was so grateful that she made a cake for me. Of course she made my day!

In Barcelona I meet the charming Fatima and Alicia from Arbolande.

Hace unos meses vino una clienta preguntando por un cactus "cola de rata". Me contó que su abuela tenía uno precioso y ella se acordaba de esa planta y estaba intentando encontrar una. Pregunté a los proveedores pero ninguno tenía, pero... este fin de semana fui a Barcelona a una feria de flores y encontré la planta! La compré para mi clienta y ella se ha puesto tan contenta que esta mañana me ha traido un cake casero!

En Barcelona conocí a las encantadoras Fatima y Alicia de Arbolande.
