the forgotten garden

this is a very personal post. I spent all my childhood holidays at this garden. It was my grandmother´s garden at a village near Barcelona. It was full of roses , oleanders and pines. They were three little ponds, and hibiscus and daisies bushes. Since my grandmothers death the garden begun his decadence.
My cousin built up a new house in the same land, next to the old one. Every summer I go to visit her and the view of our childhood garden makes me feel a bit nostalgic.

  4. Wow, I know that you said that it used to be full of flowers (and I am sure it was amazing) but it is still so beautiful! I love the overrun look of all the plants just spreading out and growing. It must be strange to visit the place and see all the time that has passed, but also something wonderful- to remember good times too. I think you should try to fix it up and plant some new perennial plants in the plot :)
